Terms of service

Mascotalks is a service of Mascotalks. Contact: [email protected]. By paying for any of our services, you accept these terms.

1. What we do

We create original 3D characters and make short vertical videos where they talk, with an AI voice, lip sync and captions: gift videos, monthly plans and mascots for businesses.

2. Gift videos

• A gift video costs US$12, paid in advance with PayPal or by card. Before paying, you see the character and the exact words it will say, for free.
• Characters are original. If you ask for one that belongs to a company (from a movie, show, game or brand), we make an original one inspired by the idea, with a different design and name, and show it to you before you pay.
• We don't make videos of real people, famous or not, and we don't animate photos of people.
• You're responsible for the message: it can't insult, harass, scare or deceive anyone, or contain sexual, hateful or political content. We may decline an order before charging it.
• The video is for personal use: giving it, sharing it and posting it on your social media. Not for ads or resale.
• You get 1 free change if something went wrong, such as how a name was pronounced. If we can't deliver your video, we refund 100 %.
• Your video link works for 30 days. After that we delete the order, your pet's photo and the video.

3. Monthly plans

• The plan is charged in advance every month with PayPal or by card (Recurrente), at the price you see when subscribing.
• It includes your plan's number of videos for that month, on the dates you choose. Videos you don't schedule in a month don't roll over.
• The same rules as gift videos apply: original characters, no real people, and messages that don't upset anyone. An idea that breaks them isn't made and we let you know.
• Cancel anytime from your page: next month isn't charged and the videos of the month you already paid are still made. Months already started aren't refunded.
• When your plan ends, we keep your videos for 30 days so you can download them, then delete them.

4. Mascots for businesses

Free demo; Starter (US$490): 3 original mascot options, your pick with 8 references, a voice by accent and 4 videos; Monthly (US$290 a month): 20 videos a month. No video is made without your written approval of its script, and you're responsible for what it says being true. You get 2 rounds of changes on the mascot and on each video; our own mistakes don't count. Once paid, the mascot designed for you and its videos are yours. If none of the 3 mascots works for you after the changes, we refund 100 % of the Starter. Cancel the Monthly plan with 7 days' written notice before the next charge.

5. Content made with AI

Characters, voices and videos are made with artificial intelligence. When you post them, you agree to mark the "AI-generated" option when the social network asks for it, and not to present the character as a real person. If you authorize us to post on your accounts, you connect them from your client page, signing in to each network with your own account (we never see your password) and we post only videos you approved.

6. Voices

We use library voices licensed for commercial use. If a voice's owner withdraws it, audio already delivered remains yours and usable. We never clone a person's voice without their written permission.

7. No guaranteed results

We don't guarantee sales, followers, views or any other result. We guarantee delivering what was agreed, on time.

8. Payments

We accept PayPal and cards through Recurrente, in US dollars. You receive an electronic invoice for each payment.

9. Your data

We use your data only to provide the service and send AI providers only what your order needs. We don't sell or share your data for other purposes. See our privacy notice.

10. Changes to these terms

If we change these terms, we'll email you before they apply to your next charge.
